AirBorn Imaging is a full service aerial photography company offering both aerial and architectural photography.   We maintain a growing collection of stock aerial photography and provide historical aerial photo search services. We are located in Houston, Texas, however we will fly anywhere to get the aerial photos you need.  Customer service is our number one priority.

Our aerial photo platforms range from single engine airplanes, to helicopters, to lifts, to the tops of buildings.  We do what is required to get the aerial photos you need!  No matter what aerial photo platform we use, rest assurred you will receive the sharpest image possible.  We use gyro-stabilizers on our cameras to remove any vibrations created by the wind or the aircraft's engine.  Speaking of cameras, we shoot our aerial photos on medium format film and digital.  Both medium format and digital have their advantages and based on your needs and requests we determine which one is right for your project.

How it works:

Give us a call, send an e-mail, or click the quote link below or at the top of the page and describe the requirements for your custom aerial photo.  Start with the basics like location. Next, let us know what your end use is going to be and whether you'd like vertical or oblique views...or both.  Vertical aerial photos are straight down whereas oblique aerials are angled and may or may not include the horizon in the photograph. Do you want to capture the surrounding area?  If so how much of it and are there any special landmarks you'd like included in the photo?

Once we get the details we'll send you an estimate for approval. Once it is approved we'll get it on our flight schedule. Weather is a major factor so ideally we like to have a couple weeks to be able to pick the perfect day to shoot your site. If you need aerial photos flown "yesterday" then we can accomodate and fly it promptly (sometimes the same day if you catch us early). Once your photo mission has been flown, we'll process the images and put your aerial photo proofs up on a secure website for you to view. Select your favorite aerial photos and we'll get started on your final product. Prints usually take about a week, depending on the size, to print, proof, and ship. Digital copies of your aerial or architectural photos are usually available for download within 24 hours or less.

Constuction Projects - weekly or monthly recurring aerial photos are often used to monitor construction progress or for funding reports.

Real Estate - nothing shows the grandeur of an estate home or the beauty and expanse of acreage like an aerial photograph. Rise above your competition and show your potential buyers how great the property really looks.
